32 Years of Marriage...and Counting!

This year the hubs and I celebrated 32 years of marriage!  Yep, we were only in high school when we met and started dating.  Each year, we try to do something special to celebrate this happy occasion and this year it was the Miami trip.  So what, you may wonder,  does a couple celebrating 32 years of marriage do on their anniversary?  Well, we started off the day by calling room service and having a delicious breakfast on our balcony...

Then, we made our way to the pool to read and relax a little...

Then it was time to get ready for our evening out.  Robby found this wonderful little restaurant and made reservations for us.  Romeo's Cafe' (http://www.romeoscafe.com/contact-2/) is a very small restaurant that boasts of having no menu.  You heard me correctly, there is no menu available for patrons.  It is an Italian restaurant that serves a 6 course meal, where the server comes out and first asks you what you likes and dislikes are.  After that, one simply has to order a bottle of wine, sit back, relax and wait to see what delectable dishes are to come their way.  The meal was wonderful, everything from the linguine with goose, to the risotto (Hubs had shrimp and lobster, I had mushroom because of my shellfish allergy), duck in a raspberry sauce and chocolate souffle'.  Sorry I wasn't able to snap any photos of the place because it was really dark in there!  There is limited space though (only about 7-8 tables in one room and a big table in another room) that makes it cozy and romantic.  Just what one is looking for in an anniversary dinner!

Of course, we needed an anniversary picture so we asked our hotel attendant to take one for us.  And in return he gave us a bottle of wine!

So, there ya have it; 32 years of marriage.  It sounds like a very long time to most people but to me it seems like only yesterday that I met and fell in love with my most favorite person on the face of this earth.  Yep...32 years and counting.
