Parker Ann's Fun Weekend With Poppi and YaYa!

Although Parker Ann only lives about 45 minutes from us, we don't get to see her as much as we used to.  You see, she is getting to be a "Big Girl" now and goes to school three days a week!  However, this past weekend, we got to keep her the ENTIRE weekend...and BOY did we have FUN!

Friday turned out to be a little cooler than it has been but we bundled up and went to the zoo...
We saw all the animal and played on the slide...
And Poppi even made cotton candy to take with us.
We  sat on top of the elephant statue...
And rode the Choo Choo Train, of course.

Then we went home to take a nap.  This is how we take a nap at YaYa's house...(Shhh...Don't tell anybody!)
Kicked back on the couch watching Dora (Well, it IS taking a "rest"...isn't it?)
Later, Parker wanted to "help" while we made dinner and cleaned the kitchen.  Notice her "step stool"; she drags it all over the place so she can be up on our level to see what's going on...
                                                               HEY!  What's for supper?
You're never too young to learn how to unload the dishwasher.
On the back porch, "helping" Poppi grill dinner.

Around 7:30, this little cutie was just "Too pooped to pop"!

Parker woke up in the middle of the night and had fever.  She's not a fussy child so I just gave her some Tylenol and we rocked and talked...until about 1:30!  Poppi said she was just getting me ready for Holli's arrival and all of that late night rocking.  When she woke up at 7, we headed to the kitchen to make some breakfast...
                                                     Biscuits dipped in syrup...YUMMY!
Parker really wanted to go to Chucky Cheese and eat pizza and ride the rides but her fever was not gone so we couldn't take her there...maybe that's a trip for the next visit!
Poppi and YaYa sure did enjoy our weekend visit with you, Parker Ann!
